Cas Holmes (UK)
Acknowledges the human connection with land, environment and topography, using stitched, constructed and transformed surfaces from reclaimed and recycled materials. She works to commission and has pieces in the collection of the Museum of Art and Design New York, Rochester Cathedral and Arts Council England. Cas works to commission, teaches and curates. Her book The Found Object in Textile Art (Batsford/Anova) will be published September 2010 and will be for sale at Zijdelings after release.
